At the time of writing this, I've had my keyboard for almost six months, and I've been pleasantly surprised with this keyboard.I'm not a keyboard fanatic, nor am I what I would call a 'hardcore gamer', but I've been using computer keyboards since the IBM Model M was in common use, so I've seen and used a lot of different keyboards.This one has been a pleasant surprise, and I've not regretted buying one.Things I like about it:- Backlit (I happen to like the shade of blue it uses)- Wireless (this was one of the criteria I had when I was shopping for a new keyboard, I have enough stuff on my desk, and reducing the number of cables was a huge plus for me)- Keycaps are easily removable (helps when cleaning the keyboard)- Has an on-off switch (this is one of those things that one might never think about but if it's needed...)- The keyboard is still useable while the USB cable is plugged in for charging. I've run into some wireless devices where one can charge them or use them, but not both at the same time.- The top plate of the keyboard is metal, making it a stable platform to type on with no flex (unless one goes 'total primate' on it)- Does not require software do do things like enable or disable the backlight, or change the LED effects.Things I'm not that fond of:- The font used on the key caps (personal preference)- The backlight, while adequate for the keycap design, is done via a single LED at the top of the switch (makes the lighting not the most even, but that would have increased the price)- The battery indicators are a bit, odd. A flashing LED for a low battery, and one that lights up when charging (with an icon that looks like a full battery) and turns off when the battery is fully charged. Having a single battery light that flashes when low and changes colour when charging/fully would have been more 'intuitive' for the US market in my view.- The battery itself could have been larger, I think, making it last longer. This may have been a case of diminishing returns as looking at the thickness of the keyboard, there can't be a lot of room inside the case.- Switches are not socketed, so if one was to go out, soldering would be required to replace it. Again, I can see this being a cost situation.I know, the list of like to dislikes weighs more on the dislike, but I do like this keyboard. It's not 'The Perfect Keyboard (tm)' to me, but it's good at what it does for the asking price, making it hard to beat. And being that it's held together with screws and not plastic welded or with clips that are not designed to ever open without breaking them, if something goes wrong with a switch or the battery, it's possible with the right knowledge to open it up and fix/enhance the keyboard (coughs in potential larger battery).All in all, I do not regret buying one of these keyboards. It has worked quite well for me in the time I've had it, and I use it every day for several hours at a time.
