EDIT:After using it for a while, I got used to this slick surface and I actually like this surface more. I've been using Steelseries QcK, which is considered as one of the "slower" mouse pads (ie, your mouse glides slower due to friction/resistance). Because I've been using Steelseries QcK throughout my life, I was a little biased on the last review. GGing Pro Gaming Mouse Mat feels smoother than the QcK but has enough friction for that precision you need. Even though I haven't tested this out myself, I would rate this 3/5 on the glide speed according to this Mouse Guide Video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-rCKUrgwdQ -- Highly recommended to watch this video before you buy any mouse pad). The thing I love most about this mouse pad is that it is machine washable. My QcK got all the dirt, oil due to my sweaty hands and it was to a point where it was no longer useable after 3~4 weeks. I'm giving this mouse pad back to 5 stars, thank you for this wonderful product.PREVIOUS REVIEW:High quality mouse pad but WHERE IS THE FRCTION as advertised???? I thought with this mouse pad, it would give more resistance than the Steelseries QcK... compared to the QcK, this mousepad feels like ice. Would have given a "5" star if it was as advertised, but since the quality was great, I'm giving it a generous 4.This mousemat is wonderful for many reasons. Its long, and well made. The thickness of the material makes it nicely weighted and rubbery-like material basically prevents it from sliding, all while remaining flexible. The mat is also waterproof, which i never thought id care about, but turns out things spill quite often on my desk and this mat makes cleanup so easy, and after im done wiping down, i just run it under hot water with soap and good as new.The mats material feels a little rough, kinda like, well, a mat. Its not a bad thing at all, and it's probably how it remains so easy to clean and take care of, bunt when it comes to actually using the mat for mouse-like functions, i don't find myself using it. I place another mousepad next to it and use this one under my keyboard and laptop elevation stand (yes i have 3 monitors in front of my at all times - multitasking). I dont consider the mouse thing a downside at all, it's very much so a control mat. Im going to grab the speed mat pretty soon as well.5/5 stars for a quality product.(ps i like the "there is no cow level" diablo reference)This was a big upgrade from my standard mouse pad, as I'm mostly gaming and using photoshop at my desk. The threading along the edges is a love/hate for me. On the love side, it seems like it adds some durability. On the sh*t side, it's bulky and doesn't allow for you to go over the edges (obviously, but still). The biggest gripe I have with this mousepad--and I have no idea if others will have the same issue, keep this in mind--it is EXTREMELY difficult to get clean. It attracts dust, crumbs, whatever like a freaking magnet. I've tried vacuuming it, shaking it off....I have no idea how to get this thing to look new again. If there's a solution to this, I haven't found it yet. It seems like the density of the weaving creates perfect tiny indents for those particles to settle. Very annoying. I'm writing this review now because I've used it for several months, in which it worked fine, but I'm ordering a different mousepad because of the material and I would like a larger size. As far as gaming, I use a g502 @ 1300 DPI and .05 sensitivity (fortnite). A larger mouse pad will be very helpful so I don't have to change my settings or have to lift the mouse up and reposition it often. All in all, it's fine, but if you're buying this for gaming purposes consider the threading along the sides, and what size will work with your desk and mouse settings. These mouse pads are so well made, a little tricky to clean and very much crumb magnets, but I love it so much I bought a second one for my bedroom!Oh, and in case you forgot... There is no cow level.I got tired of mouse pads, that always had cloth peel away. With stitched outer edge, I expect it to last as long as 2 or 3 or more of the cheap pads. That is why I am glad I found this mouse Pad.I found others but size was not right, or Too expensive.Only about double the cost of your most basic mouse pad.I expect it to last 3-4 or even more times longer.[UPDATE] it has been nearly 3 months, no signs of wear on stitching at all yet.And even with having to clean stitching from my wrist, I use 3-8 hours a day plus.I expect it to last, will probably keep as a back up when i get bigger desk. And pretty sure buy a larger one from the same seller.I prefer blank Pads, but the printing on theirs is not very distracting, and I kinda like the "There is no cow level"I love this mousepad! We've had it for a while now and it's shown no visible wear and has been very easy to clean. The size has been great, since we tend to run off of smaller or normal sized mousepads quite easily. The ONLY thing I didn't like is that even after months, it does still smell a bit, sort of like rubber. It's not overbearing when you're sitting at the computer, but you can still notice it just by being near it. I'm sure the smell will continue to go away over the next few months, but it's still a bit odd that the smell has lasted this long.I love the texture of this mouse mat. I had a Starcraft II steelseries one for many years before this one and loved that. It became so dirty my cursor wouldn't move so I wanted to find another one just as large. This one is almost the length of my keyboard and feels similar to a grip mat I'd have on my kitchen floor. The mouse glides very easily over it so I'll have to get used to that. One of my favorite parts is the "There is no cow level." We're big Diablo fans in this house so that cracked us up.I'm also attaching a picture of the sizing guide on the box because it gives an idea of how large the other mats are compared to this one.
