Excelente materialWhere do I start?! This is the most amazing backpack I have ever had or ever seen on anyone, like, ever. I'm going to leave a generous review because of how ecstatic I am to have found this. I was delivered three backpacks prior to this [fourth] one, but none of them fit my 17.3-inch Dell Inspiron Starlord laptop. This backpack was the one.Let's start with the color. It's not gray-ish, it's not gunmetal, it's a beautiful matte black, just like I was hoping. The color is true to the images on the product profile and description. The Alien face on the middle of the backpack is perfectly in place and straight. (I saw a review where it was actually not in place). It has a film protector that I did not remove before taking the attached pictures. Honestly, I hate when those things scratch. I am expecting this one to scratch, too, because I'm a total idiot and just hurl my backpacks anywhere on the floor. So be mindful of that if you're as picky as I am.There are no visible water bottle holders, but if you look at the pictures, you'll see my chubby little hand stretching out the bottle holder that is found inside a tiny zipper on the bottom left-hand corner of the backpack (your left side when you are wearing the backpack). It should stretch enough to fit a 20-ounce Dasani or Aquafina water. (I don't have a bottle near me to verify). My 17.3 Dell laptop fits beautiful. The strap stretches over the laptop for a snug fit. Behind the laptop is the soft, amazing padding where my sweaty back will sweat on as I skip around campus. This backpack is constructed so that TSA can quickly zip open that pocket all the way till it lays flat. I did not have to nudge it a bit or squeeze it in at all, it is a perfect fit. The strap does stretch to maximum capacity over my huge laptop, but without being stretched out, it should be a snug fit for 15-inch laptops. As you can see in the pictures, I have two college textbooks, a planner, a one-subject notebook, and my portable computer mouse inside the black case. On the smaller pocket, I have my 10,000 mah power bank charger, financial calculator, pens, micro USB charger, and will probably fit in some other random things. This backpack would've been ideal if it had an attached USB connecting to a power bank, but whatever. (I will not deduct any stars from this review whatsoever).I also included a picture of the back padding and shoulder straps. With my laptop and the aforementioned items inside the backpack, it weighed approximately 15 pounds, but it wasn't burdensome at all, and it feels more than sturdy to handle more weight. The straps seem comfortable. I'm not sure what's going to fit in that small Alien pocket, but I'm sure I'll find something to stuff in there. (Maybe an emergency K-cup for a campus Keurig).Overall, the backpack is phenomenal quality and I'm very happy I found it after so many tries. I also couldn't believe the price! If there is a market for huge backpacks for huge laptops, expect the price for this one to increase. It's way too undervalued. (Sorry if the price does indeed increase... I'm a broke college student, I wouldn't appreciate it either...)Hopefully I captured everything you need to hear. I'm not getting paid for this review, I'm just very grateful it exists!I have been using it for almost 10 years and it still looks great and fits my stuffThis thing has more pockets than a kangaroo convention! Every time I open it, a new pocket is revealed to me. I am afraid someday to open it up and find another dimension. Fortunately I had this pack while I was doing some home renovations so I had a place to put my kitchen sink... (Except the secret beverage pocket on the side - that is too small to actually hold a typical beverage sized container. How weird?)I put my laptop, ipad in otterbox, xoom in pleather case, 5 subject size notebook, receipt book, business papers, mouse, five chargers, POS camera, GPS, deck of cards, dice, gum, pens, ratchet straps, sweatshirt, a gift for mom, USB drives, sunglasses case, passport and condoms in the backpack - with room to spare. And it still fits under the airline seat in front of me...The handle is handy for tossing it in the back seat or on the particle scanner conveyor belt at TSA. But it will bonk you on the head if you lean forward too far.I have an ASUS 17" laptop. The laptop pocket is a bit larger than I would like, not a snug fit. But it has a elastic velcro strap so I am not worried about it falling out, just not as snug as I would like. The ONLY thing I don't like about this backpack, and why it got 4 stars (I would give it three, but the positives of the pack are too great) instead of five, is the shoulder straps. The material is fine, the padding is good (even with the tonnage I put in the thing), the length adjustment is enough. The gosh-durned things are simply too far apart. The straps ride on the front of my shoulders instead of the sweet spot between the shoulders and the pecs. It does have that little adjustment strap between the two shoulder straps. Adjustable up and down and elastic by the clip so it allows lateral movement. But I hate those things. Even tightened fully, the straps are still too far apart for my liking and just feel awkward. The misplacement also increases fatigue. I have to take it off more frequently than previous packs. Maybe someday my body will conform to it?I wouldn't let this dissuade you from purchasing this pack, you may be a different size than me.This is the best pack I have bought for my PC. I use this pack mainly for work/business.On a side note, the pack that arrived is slightly different than the one pictured. On initial inspection, it appears the same, but mine actually has more pockets than pictured. Better than photos. This is a great bag.You all know from the various reviews and videos on the net everything about it,so i won't write about its durability, padding, compartments, etcYOU JUST HAVE IN MIND THE FOLLOWING:-This bag cannot stand upright on it's own.-The strap that keeps the computer in place, will leave a mark on the center of the laptop's lid (velcro fastener area) after a while,so protect the lid with a cloth or something like that.-Handle with care as the shoulder straps stiching is weak. This is the reason for giving 4 and not 5 stars. If you are OK with these, buy it and you won't be dissapointed as it is really "something else".As Alienware laptops are quite big size and heavy you can 't put tem in usual backpacks. It really fits the 17" size, there are several other pockets to put your belongings in even safe for keys.I think it worth the money.is the best bag ever! a litle bit expensive but i wort it! u can be sure ur lapto its gonna be perfectly protected herea good thingI like the bag, don't get me wrong. But it is just a bag, and it is a very premium price for 'just a bag'. I don't care how they 'brand' the compartments it has, it's just a bag. It JUST fits the 17'' alienware. and it has lots of extra space for that clunky power supply and other gaming gadgets. But I don't have faith in it lasting a long period of time or rigorous use. I'm used to 511 and Maxpedition products, and this is certainly not the same build quality. Maybe I'm just rougher on my gear, I don't baby it, but I don't misuse it either. Time will tell. If you just have to have this for some reason go for it. BUT I think I could of done better for the price.
